Bible Study is a safe and challenging space unlike any other I’ve ever encountered. I started my year in that group lonely and questioning my faith, and ended up with (I hope) lifelong friends who can face those questions with me. Even though I’ve spent a year 800 miles away, I still feel included in that community and I know it will shape who I am for the rest of my life.

Territorial Acknowledgment

St. Martha's Chapel is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk), at a place called Tio’tia:ke (Montréal), a meeting place for many First Nations, including the Haudenosaunee (Six Nation Confederacy), Anishinabeg and Algonquin peoples. We recognize and respect the Kanien’keha:ka as the traditional stewards of the land and waters of Tio’tia:ke. Our acknowledgement stands as a promise to continue the ongoing work of recognition and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
